A good habit πŸ“–πŸ“š

In Viet Nam, I read textbooks that include cited paragraphs from popular literary works; then, I  analyze them by using evidence given in the description paper that my teacher assigned.

In most of the Vietnamese curriculum - the traditional teaching curriculum, students do not have to read more documents than short cited paragraphs in the textbook. Additionally, teachers did not provide me discussion time for what I read and understood. Sometimes, I wrote without any questions about the ideas made in the assigned description scripts.

English courses this semester support me with a variety of documents and books. Before every writing assignment, I have to read related books whose content can help me with my paper by providing me evidence for the arguments made in my paper. After 3 papers, I get familiar with reflecting on what I read in my paper. I give more insight into the assignment questions and finish them more quickly. I learned that reading really influences my thoughts and my writing. Reading books recommended by professors exposes me to actual authors' writing styles; sometimes, details in books inspire me to more ideas for my paper.

I collect important and relevant information from articles, outline ideas based on collected data to process a draft, and finally make it the perfect paper to hand in.
